Word out of the Consumer Electronics Show is that NVIDIA lost out on all of its next generation console graphics chip developer bids. Sources say Sony's potential PS4 console will be packed with Intel chips, Microsoft's prospective Xbox incarnation could see ATI GPUs as could a new Nintendo console. NVIDIA reports Q4 earnings on February 10th.

Nvidia News - Past

On January 13, NVIDIA cut their Q4 guidance into the 40% to 50% range due to falling chip demand by end-users and channel partners. Back in September of 2008, NVIDIA announced it would slash 6.5% of its workforce by the third quarter of 2009. NVIDIA had expected to earn $448.83 million to $538.60 million over Q4. During the second quarter last year, NVIDIA reported its first loss since 2002.
