Nvidia History

From 1999 through 2001, NVIDIA shares rose from $1.58 to just over $23. The 2002 recession erased almost all of the turn of the century gains, bottoming out at the end of the year. After the 2002 bottom, NVIDIA shares steadily reclaimed momentum, rising back to $20 by May of 2006 on route to touching an all-time closing high of $37.39 in October of 2007. Once again, the 2007-2009 recession wiped out most of NVIDIA's price appreciation, sending its shares back into the mid-single digits.

Nvidia Last Month

NVIDIA closed at $8.07 on December 31st and $7.95 on January 30th, a 1.4% decline. During the month, NVIDIA issued a Q4 revenue warning, forecasting a 40% to 50% drop in sales.
