Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Yum! Brands operates the Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Long John Silver’s chains. Yum! boasts the largest number of restaurant locations in the world.

Following its spin-off from PepsiCo, Yum! was established in 1997 as Tricon Global Restaurants. Tricon bought Yorkshire Global Restaurants in 2002, claiming its Long John Silver’s and A&W All-American Food brands, and formally changed its name to Yum! in May of 2002.
