
Like the Dow and S&P 500, Citi has been unable to hold support several times on its way to a $4.71 close on November 20th. Since the end of August, Citi has failed to hold any significant support level ($17.75 hit September 29th and broken on October 6th, $12.93 hit October 9th and broken on October 24th, $11.73 hit on October 27th and broken November 6th.
ResistanceMcDonalds's failure to gain momentum has had more to do with fundamental concerns over its balance sheet than its inability to break through resistance levels.
