Shares of Citigroup stabilized in December following the rockiest month in the history of the company. Shares debuted and closed in the $6 range last month, propped up by a federal bailout and valuation buyers. Yet widespread uncertainty concerning the status of billions of dollars in toxic assets remains for the banking supergiant.
