Excluding some bumps in the road (1998, 2002, 2008), PepsiCo has been a very consistent stock throughout its history. PepsiCo crossed the $10 per share mark in 1989, $20 per share in 1992, $30 per share in 1996, $40 per share in 2000, $50 per share in 2002, $60 per share in 2006, and hit an all-time high near $77 in late 2007.
Beverage makers rallied alongside the broad-market during March. PepsiCo closed at $48.14 on February 27th and $51.48 on March 31st, representing a 6.9% gain.
