Southern Copper History

Southern Copper, in its current incarnation, has seen its shares mirror the broad market since 2005. PCU stock rose from high single digits in 2005 to an all-time high of just under $46/share by October of 2007. The brief collapse of the stock market in the winter of 2007 slashed nearly half of the value of PCU shares before stabilizing in the first half of 2008. But the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the onset of systemic risk forced PCU back towards its 2005 levels.
