How long have you been blogging?
Since 2004.
What got your started blogging?
The desire to share my experience with the rookies and teach them the best trade ideas and advice in order to avoid making big mistakes and consequent losses.
What is the focus of your blog, i.e. how does it set you apart from the other bloggers out there?
Just trade ideas, but from time to time share great stuff.
What is it you hope a reader will come away with when they visit your blog?
To find my latest analyze about a determinate financial asset.
Do you like to be edgy in your posts and try and stir up some controversy?
It is irrelevant for me, that kind of attitude.
When did you start to trade?
My first trade occurred in 1990 before the big boom.
What is your favorite instrument to trade (stocks, options, forex, futures, bonds, etc.)
Just stocks, but I'm also able to analyze any kind of instrument in different time frames.
What is your favorite strategy to trade?
Short-term investments.
What time frame do you like to trade?
Depending of the risk involved. It can be 1 or 6 months.
For someone new coming into the markets, what steps would you recommends they use to get started?
Read the recommendations of the gurus, not the analysts.
What is the biggest stumbling block you see for most beginner traders, i.e. where do you see them making the biggest mistakes?
Want to win everything in one day, and put all the money in just one stock.
In today's trading environment, where do you see the biggest opportunities for traders?
Sectors of Technology and Solar.
What do you see in store for the markets in 2009?
Not good things but we can have a nice rally in the second half of the year, if the unemployment stops.
If a turnaround, when do you see that happening?
In the second half of 2009
If not a turnaround in 09, why not?
Depending of the unemployment rate.
If not a turnaround in 09, when?
Just in 2010.
Do you use technical analysis?
Always.
If yes, what are your favorite technical indicators?
My favorite indicators are: MACD, ROC, RSI, Full Stochastic, Money Flow, On balance volume, Moving averages ( 5,13,20,50,200 ) Bollinger bands.
